MAJ Tran Nam Phuong is 37 years old and has a master's degree in maritime safety and Security Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies of Japan. 
He spent 6 years at Coast Guard Region 3rd, South of Vietnam at the SAR Center and 1 year at the Unisfa Mission in Africa. Before coming to IFC, MAJ Phuong worked in the International Relations Division of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
