LTC Pham Van Dung started his first task as an Administrative and Staff Team Leader in Quan Lan Border Guard Station, a unit affiliated to Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard in 2010. With significant progress, He was then promoted to work in Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Headquarters. LTC Pham was also the Administrative and Staff Team Leader, then Mass Mobilization Team Leader, and recently was doing some political work. 

In terms of education, besides graduating from 2 military academies, LTC Pham also attended different courses including a 5 months English course at RELC, in Singapore, which provided him with valuable knowledge he needed for his work. He has a happy family with 2 lovely children, who would also want to follow their father’s career step.
