Lieutenant Kim Chan-gon, Republic of Korea Navy Officer and International Liasion Officer attached to IFC Singapore, was born in Daegu, South Korea. He entered to Korean Navy Academy in 2011 and graduated as a Navy Officer in 2015. During his career, he worked under different designations, mainly related to warfare. Additionally, he participated in the combined ASW exercise "SHAREM". After working onboard, he continues his career at the intel ROK Air Command as UAV company commander and branch at ROK Navy 2nd Fleet. His speciality is intel and participated in several ROK-US combined exercises such as UFG and UFS. He has been working in Singapore as a ROK ILO in IFC and Regional Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Coordination Centre in Singapore from 2023.
