Since joining the Royal Cambodian Navy (RCN) in 2009, Lieutenant Commander Sal has served on multiple RCN vessels deployed throughout Gulf of Thailand. He has previously served in the Royal Cambodian Navy, Navy School of Intelligence, and Tactical Command Headquarters of National Committee for Maritime Security (NCMS) in multiple roles such as administration, VBSS Team, Fast Reaction Unit, International Relations Office, Interpreter for RCN, and the Navy Lecturer of Computer sciences and Languages. In 2018 he became Cambodia's fourth ILO to the IFC where he leads the Contraband Smuggling Cluster. LCDR Sal holds a Bachelor of English Literature in TESOL at the Norton University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Economic and Management.
