Lieutenant Commander Soe Min Pyae joined the Defence Services Academy in 2006. In 2008, he graduated from the Defence Services Academy and hold a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and joined the Myanmar Navy. Over the past 18 years, he served in a variety of operational and staff roles, and participated in the 3rd ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX 2025). He was last appointed as an Executive Officer on board a Frigate. Currently, he is serving as an International Liaison Officer in the Information Fusion Centre, Republic of Singapore Navy.

LCDR Soe is happily married to Mrs Seinn Myat Yamin Aung in 2022.
