LCDR Sam Gitlitz join the United States Navy in 2011, and has over 14 years experience in maritime security and international cooperation. Prior to assuming responsibilities as the Assistant Naval Attaché at the US embassy in Singapore, LCDR Gitlitz served as a programme manager at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.  LCDR Gitlitz holds a BA in history from Boston University and an MA in international relations from American University. Additionally, LCDR Gitlitz is a graduate of the United States, Air Force Command and Staff College.
