LCDR Rahim served in the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) for 16 years, having completed his foundation military training at the Royal Malaysian Navy College (KD SULTAN IDRIS 1) at Lumut, Malaysia in 2009.


He held various appointments both at sea and ashore, including service aboard KD TERENGGANU (AXO) and KD SELANGOR (EWO), as well as at key RMN headquarters and command establishments.

LCDR Rahim is happily married and blessed with four children, and his family is based in Malacca. His interests include badminton and other nature-based outdoor activities.
