LCDR Nelson McMillan’s 19 years of Royal Navy experience stems from a background at sea as a Principal Warfare Officer and minor warship Commanding Officer. He recently returned to the RN at UK Strategic Command headquarters following a sabbatical that included studying at Harvard Business School and pursuing an interest in macroeconomics into private sector finance. His wife and infant son hail from England and accompany him in Singapore on what feels like the start of a new adventure for the family.
