Lieutenant Commander Melvyn Loh joined the Royal New Zealand Navy in 2011 and has over 13 years experience in maritime intelligence and Humanitarian and Disaster Relief. He has worked aboard ships deployed in the Indo-Pacific and undertaken roles within New Zealand’s Joint Force Headquarters and Joint Intelligence Fusion Centre. LTCDR Loh holds a Bachelors of Commerce and Administration (Honours) and a Masters of Commerce and Administration. He will serve as New Zealand’s Assistant Defence Advisor to Singapore, and as the New Zealand ILO to the IFC and Regional Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Coordination Centre.
