CDR Kullmanoch Wanwarn of the Royal Thai Navy graduated from the Royal Thai Naval Academy in 2006 and hold a Master of Strategic Studies from the Australian National University. Over the past 18 years, he have served in a variety of operational and staff roles, including Commanding Officer of a patrol gunboat, aide-de-camp to a senior naval director, and head of strategic planning and management system development sections. From October 2023 to March 2024, CDR Wanwarn served as the Senior National Representative (SNR) at Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) in Bahrain during the Israel-Palestine conflict. In parallel, he was assigned as the CMF Regional Affairs and Dissemination Officer (RADO) for the East Indian Ocean Area of Responsibility, where he was responsible for reporting on maritime domain awareness across the Strait of Malacca, Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, East Indian Ocean, and Laccadive Sea. These experiences have reinforced his commitment to regional maritime cooperation and the value of shared situational awareness. CDR Wanwarn is currently deployed in IFC and contributing to the collective efforts in enhancing maritime safety and collaboration across the region.
