CG Commander Angela Naval Salih started her career in the Philippine Coast Guard as an Enlisted Personnel in 2005 and later joined as Ensign in the Officer' Corps in 2009. She held various admin, intelligence, logistics and operations offices in various capacities, highlights of which included commanding two coast guard field stations and one coast guard station. CG CDR Salih also attended several trainings both locally and overseas, such as the International Visitor Leadership Program in USA and Combating Maritime Threats and Maritime Security in Jeddah, KSA and part of Philippine delegation to several bilateral consultations in Indonesia and Australia. In 2022, she became the third and first female Philippine Coast Guard ILO to the IFC.
