CDR Andhika Permana graduated from the Indonesian Naval Academy and was commissioned as an officer in 2007. Since he was a junior until mid-level officer rank, CDR Andhika have served on various types of Indonesian Navy Ships (KRI), ranging from the Striking Ship Squadron, the Patrolling Ship Squadron, to the Auxiliary Ship Squadron. Throughout this period of service, he held various positions, from Assistant Division Head to Commanding Officer. In the Operations Staff, CDR Andhika began his career as a Staff Officer at the Operations Staff of the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces. This role involved assisting the Commander’s Assistant for Operations in formulating joint exercise plans among the three branches of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and evaluating the outcomes of these exercises. Prior to serving as the Indonesian ILO at the IFC, CDR Andhika held the position of Head of Subsection for Exercise at the Naval Operations and Training Service, Indonesian Navy Headquarters. CDR Andhika's military educational background began with graduating from the Indonesian Naval Academy in Surabaya, followed by completing the Specialization Course and the Principal Warfare Officer Course in Surabaya. In 2019, CDR Andhika attended the International Surface Warfare Officer Department Head Course in Rhode Island, USA, and later in 2023, continued with the Command and General Staff Course in the Philippines. CDR Andhika is blessed with his beloved wife and two children, who have been his source of strength and inspiration throughout his career. Currently, they live in Jakarta, a capital city of Indonesia that offers both cultural richness and modern conveniences.
