CHO Ship Management invited the IFC for the first time to participate in their annual ship security exercise, which aims to test the company's readiness and communication procedures. CHO ship management is a subsidiary of CH Offshore Ltd. a provider of offshore support vessels.
capt Mustaffa, QHSSE Manager, DPA, ACSO of CHO Ship Management coordinated with JFC to execute the exercise scenario. We also involved the Brunei International Liaison Officer (ILO) in the exercise to test the info-sharing linkages, as the simulated incident took place in Brunei.
The timely reporting of the incident to the JFC and relevant authorities was crucial to allow enforcement agencies sufficient time to respond effectively. The exercise was successfully completed and a comprehensive debrief was conducted with all stakeholders.
