Celebrating a Golden Jubilee: The 50th Shared Awareness Meeting (SAM)
The IFC, together with the Singapore[ Shipping Association (SSA and the Asian Shipowners' Association (ASA), was proud to co-organise the 50th SAM.
This milestone event brought together more than 250 representatives from the global shipping and MARSEC community to discuss important maritime issues and strengthen relationships, reaffirming the importance of collaboration in safeguarding the maritime domain.
We were honoured to have RADM Ng Xun Xi, Commander MARSEC Command, RSN, as our keynote speaker. In his keynote, RADM Ng highlighted the increasingly complex nature of the MARSEC domain and emphasised that the trust, partnerships, and information-sharing networks cultivated through the past 50 SAMs remain our greatest force multiplier in ensuring safe and secure seas for all.
We extend our deepest appreciation to every participant, partner, and stakeholder whose support and contributions made this Golden Jubilee celebration a resounding success.
